The Scoop Q1 2023 : A New UI with Added Sweetness

Since our last Scoop update, we’ve been working to release major changes across the SugarCRM platform to help you work faster and focus on what matters most. We’re very excited to show you what’s in store in our Q1 2023 release for Sugar Market (23.1), Sugar Sell, and Sugar Serve (12.3).

Sugar is Now Easier to Use!

We are happy to announce that, we are introducing a new user interface (UI) across Market, Sell, and Serve with the Q1 2023 release. Based on Material Design principles, the redesigned UI gives users additional workspace and serves up more relevant data at their fingertips. These enhancements build on our promise of letting the Sugar platform do the work.

Take a look at the video below to see Sugar’s new UI in action.

Simplified Navigation in Sugar Market 12.3

With Q1 2023, we’re closing the gap between Market, Sell, and Serve user experience by introducing a new navigation system to provide users with easy access to their most-used Market modules. We consolidated the number of modules in Market from 40+ to 10. We believe these changes will provide a welcoming experience for both new and existing Market users alike.

Take a look at the video below to see what we have in store for you with the 23.1 release for Market.

Get More Done in Sugar Sell

In the previous Sell release, we added the ability to access report drill down results directly from the Focus Drawer. With the Q1 2023 release, we’re introducing a new way to work without leaving your screen with Focus Drawer tabs. Now, when you click a record link in a Focus Drawer, that record will open in a Focus Drawer tab, allowing sales and service reps to see all the customer information they need on one screen—without the need to open new windows or navigate using the back button.

We’re also improving the ways sales reps work on the go by adding cloud drive integrations to the mobile app. With this update, you can access your documents in Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive where you want, when you want.

Improved Productivity in Sugar Serve

With customer feedback in mind, in the Q1 2023 release for Serve, we’re introducing several usability enhancements. Users can now click on individual records in the list view, access records and dashboards faster in the Focus Drawer, and adjust column widths in the Service Console. These updates are also applicable to the Renewals Console in Sugar Sell.

Also shared with Sugar Sell, this Serve update includes Focus Drawer tabs to enable you to access records and their subpanels while still being able to see your list view. No more relying on multiple browser tabs!

Closing Thoughts

The Q1 release brings several major improvements across our marketing, sales, and service solutions, and we couldn’t be more excited for you to try them out.
