Media Outlets Recognize Sugar as Top Industry CRM Vendor
February was an exciting month at SugarCRM. We announced both an acquisition and a new software marketplace—but that was just the beginning of more good things. Four industry analysts and media outlets also recognized Sugar among the best CRM vendors!
While each award had different requirements, a few common themes were how the winners responded to customers’ needs during COVID, Sugar’s commitment to make the hard things easier for business professionals and to enable high-definition customer experiences that result in revenue growth.
With that in mind, here are three awards and a competitive industry analyst ranking attesting our commitment to delivering innovative technology that helps businesses create customers for life:
1. SugarCRM Recognized as a Winner in the Prestigious 2022 CRM Watchlist
During the pandemic and the uncertainty, Sugar focused on helping its customers navigate through disruption and adjust to new challenging realities.
The CRM Watchlist recognizes companies that had the most impact in the customer-facing technology world in the past year and has the corporate infrastructure, strategy, and resources to sustain that impact over the next three years. As Craig Charlton, SugarCRM’s CEO stated, this award “goes beyond features and functionality recognition. It considers each vendor’s vision, culture, and many other aspects that make the honorees truly worthy of a customer’s business.”
The CRM Watchlist award, developed by CRM industry luminary and analyst, Paul Greenberg, recognizes companies that drove the most market impact in the technology market in the last year and are poised to continue to do so over the next three years.
2. SugarCRM Wins Gold Stevie® for CRM Suite — Midmarket, New Version, in 2022 Sales & Customer Service Awards
For the second year in a row, SugarCRM earned a prestigious Gold Stevie Award®! This year’s honor was for best CRM Suite, Midmarket, New Version in the 16th annual Sales & Customer Service Awards (last year’s award was for Best New Product.)
The judges recognized Sugar’s CRM platform for providing significant value on service delivery and several important new capabilities, including our powerful AI engine, SugarPredict, which is fully integrated across our comprehensive platform for sales, marketing, and customer service teams.

3. SugarCRM Awarded “Best CRM Platform” in CX Today’s Inaugural CX Awards
SugarCRM was named the Best CRM Platform by CX Today in its inaugural CX Awards program honoring forward-thinking vendors that bring trailblazing visions of customer experience to life. The judging panel comprised of veteran analysts, practitioners, and consultants, reviewed hundreds of entrants across each of their ten award categories and noted that finalists and winners have gone above and beyond to pave paths to CX excellence.

4. SugarCRM Named a Top Vendor in Constellation ShortList for Sales Force Automation for Small and Midsize Business
Sugar Sell was recognized as a leading platform in the Q1 2022 Constellation ShortList™ Sales Force Automation for Small and Midsize Businesses. The report presents Sales Force Automation offerings recommendations for early adopters pursuing digital transformation. As part of the ShortList designee selection process, Constellation Research evaluated over 70 solutions in the sales force automation market and leveraged information from clients, partners, customer references, vendor selection projects, market share, and internal research.
