David Roberts has spent his career empowering customer-centric organizations to understand their customers and drive exceptional marketing, sales, and service interactions. He currently serves as President and CEO of SugarCRM, responsible for leading the company’s vision, culture, strategy, and operations. David has spent 30 years leading outstanding companies and teams, both publicly traded and private equity-backed, with a focus on profitable growth and successful M&A activities.

He joined SugarCRM from Alchemer, a global SaaS company specializing in helping 12,000 global customers improve their customer experience (CX) and customer and employee feedback programs. There, he served as CEO and Director during a period of incredible growth and scale; he rebranded and repositioned the company and sold the business to KKR. In previous leadership roles, David was a senior partner in Accenture’s CRM practice, CEO of ReedGroup (now part of Alight), and a member of Mayor John Hickenlooper’s cabinet in Denver.

As Chief Marketing Officer of SugarCRM, Clare Dorrian is responsible for overseeing the company’s overall integrated marketing strategy. In this role, she leads the customer marketing, revenue generation, product marketing, and marketing operations teams.

Prior to joining Sugar, Clare Dorrian spent over five years as VP of Marketing at Verint Systems, where she led all facets of demand generation, branding, and creative for the customer engagement portfolio. Prior to joining Verint, she held various international marketing positions in the CRM software market at KANA Software, Sword Group, Ciboodle, and Graham Technology.

Clare is a results-oriented, creative, and passionate marketer who has a proven track record of driving customer acquisition and brand and market awareness in B2B software companies of all sizes. She is highly motivated and known for her energy and commitment to teamwork. She prides herself on inspiring marketing professionals and driving compelling results that benefit both the business and customers.

Although she was born and raised in the UK, Clare currently lives in San Francisco. She holds an MA with distinction from the University of Glasgow.

As CRO, James is a technology industry veteran with over 23 years of experience in ERP, CRM, and IT service management. At Sugar, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, marketing, and customer service for the region. Most recently, he was at Saba, a leading talent management company, where he led the go-to-market functions in the EMEA region. There, he was also a key member of the leadership team, leading the integration of two major acquisitions that helped the company grow from 80 to 500+ employees.

Throughout his career, James has served as an executive sponsor for the adoption of competing CRM products, witnessing firsthand the frustration of complexity and lack of usability within his own teams. He’s excited to continue developing Sugar’s next-generation customer experience capabilities to ensure customer loyalty.

As Chief Legal Officer of SugarCRM, Vincent Lowder is responsible for overseeing all legal matters for the company and brings extensive experience in the computer software, SaaS, and consulting services industries, both in publicly traded and privately held growth markets.

Vincent joins Sugar after spending more than 20 years at Epicor Software Corporation, where he served as Chief Legal Officer and Treasurer and helped the company grow from $100 million to $1 billion in annual revenue.

After receiving his BA in political science from UCLA, Vincent studied at Loyola Law School before practicing at the law firms of Jones Day and Paul Hastings. Vincent is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Zac leads SugarCRM’s globally distributed product management, user experience, and engineering teams. He is responsible for formulating and executing the Sugar platform’s product vision and strategy. He has over 25 years of experience in technology companies and has held a variety of leadership roles.

Prior to his current role at Sugar, Zac served as Senior Vice President of Product, where he drove the strategic vision for the Sugar platform. Prior to joining SugarCRM, Zac held leadership positions at Geeknet, Mitel, VA Linux Systems, and Corel Computer Corp.

Chief Human Resources Officer Shana Sweeney brings more than 20 years of professional experience across a variety of industries and companies of varying sizes. In her role, she is responsible for delivering an optimal employee experience to Sugar employees and ensuring that employees always come first.

Shana joined SugarCRM in 2015 from Nuna Inc., where she was a co-founder and instrumental in building the company. Prior to Nuna, she held increasingly complex roles at companies such as Xactly, Google, Severn Trent Services, and Aetna. Shana holds an MS in Human Resource Management from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and a BS in International Politics from UC Santa Cruz.

As Chief Customer Officer, Lyndsey brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology implementation, helping businesses optimize operations and maximize the value of their technology investments. She has led large-scale initiatives across manufacturing and distribution industries, including automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, and chemicals. Before joining SugarCRM, she was Senior Vice President of Global Professional Services at PROS, where she drove business transformation through predictive analytics, pricing optimization, and CPQ solutions.

Previously, Lyndsey served as Vice President of Professional Services at Vertafore, overseeing onboarding, implementation, and training for over 20,000 customers. She also spent nearly six years at Airbus, leading global, cross-border teams to deploy complex software solutions. Passionate about customer success, she is committed to ensuring SugarCRM’s customers achieve lasting business value.
