Prior to taking the helm at SugarCRM in 2009, Larry was an angel investor and advisor to early stage technology companies. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Appcelerator, Compiere, DeviceVM, DotNetNuke, Fonality, Hyperic, Medsphere, Pentaho and SugarCRM. A member of the group who coined the term "Open Source," he has written and spoken extensively on Open Source worldwide. Worth Magazine named him to its list of the Top 50 CEOs in 2000. From 2002 to 2004 he was a Venture Partner at Azure Capital Partners. In 1993 he founded VA Linux (now SourceForge, NASDAQ:LNUX), serving as CEO until August 2002. While CEO he launched SourceForge.net and led the company through an IPO in December 1999.

Jeff Campbell, Vice President of Sales

Jeff is responsible for managing and scaling SugarCRM across its partner and direct sales operations. As one of the earliest employees at SugarCRM, Jeff played an integral role in the company's growth over the past five years. Prior to his current role, Jeff built and grew SugarCRM's channel sales organization into a worldwide network of more than 250 resellers, consulting and OEM partners.

With close to 20 years of experience in the software industry, Jeff joined SugarCRM from Epiphany where he managed strategic accounts and customer marketing programs. Prior to Epiphany, Jeff held senior roles in sales and marketing at Informatica Corporation, Business Objects and Sybase. Jeff studied business and entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California.

Andy has a breadth of experience managing fast growth companies in a wide variety of industries. Before joining SugarCRM, he was chief financial officer at CRM vendor Medallia; that was preceded by a stint as chief operating officer at Concentric Medical where, in addition to CFO duties, he launched Concentric’s international sales efforts, travelling the world introducing leading physicians to Concentric’s novel device to treat ischemic strokes.

Prior to Concentric he was the chief financial officer at both Marimba, a publicly traded enterprise software company sold to BMC, and at InnerStep, a high-end contract manufacturing firm with facilities across the U.S. Andy also gained invaluable experience as a controller at an Internet company during the dot-com boom, and as a strategic planner at a Fortune 500 trucking firm. He began his career as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Although he is a finance guy at heart, Andy loved being a world-travelling salesman, and he firmly swears by the motto “What happens in Sweden, stays in Sweden.” Andy holds a MBA from Santa Clara University and BA from Yale University.

Nick manages the company's overall go-to-market strategy. He has over 25 years of experience in the high technology sector, and has played a leading role in the emergence of the commercial open source market.

Prior to SugarCRM, Nick served as the vice president of marketing and product management at Jaspersoft Corporation, the leading open source business intelligence company. He was a co-founder of Biz360, the leading provider of social media monitoring and market intelligence solutions that was recently acquired by Attensity Group, and also served as the founding vice president of sales and marketing for Brio Software, where over six years he lead the company to $150 million in sales and to a successful IPO. Nick also served as the CMO and executive vice president of corporate development at Alphablox, guiding it to an acquisition by IBM.

Nick holds a B.A. degree in political science with a minor in computer science from Stanford University, is an avid cyclist, and the father of three energetic young boys.

Clint Oram

Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder

Clint helped launch SugarCRM in 2004 with the goal of helping companies around the world turn customers into loyal fans. Today, he leads product strategy and the product management and community teams. Clint was one of the original architects and developers of the Sugar application and has focused on helping build out the product, company, partners and community in a variety of executive roles.

Prior to co-founding SugarCRM, Clint held senior roles in the development, professional services and product management organizations at Epiphany, Octane Software and Hewlett Packard. He has 15 years experience in the enterprise software industry and over 10 years designing and building award-winning CRM software solutions. Clint holds a BS in computer science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a co-author of a CRM software patent. Clint enjoys traveling and speaking at conferences on a variety of technical topics, and has visited SugarCRM customers and partners in over 25 countries.

Tom Schuster, Vice President of Business Development

Tom brings over 25 years of high technology management experience to SugarCRM and operates out of the company's European headquarters in Munich, Germany. Most recently, Tom was CEO of Reva Networks, a leading supplier of RFID products. Previously, Tom was president of Arbor Networks, a network security appliance vendor, where he led the company's global expansion.

Prior to leading Arbor, Schuster was vice president of worldwide sales and professional services for RSA Security, where he first served as the company's London-based managing director of EMEA.

A native of South Africa, Tom received a B.Com in accounting and law from KwaZulu-Natal and an MBA in finance and corporate strategy from the University of Witwatersrand. Tom currently resides in Munich, Germany.

Jay Seirmarco, General Counsel

Jay is a versatile business and legal professional with a depth of knowledge and experience regarding corporations law (including public company reporting), intellectual property law (including open source licensing), software engineering (including agile development processes) and internet operations(including running a top-100 internet site).

Prior to joining SugarCRM, Jay served for ten years in various executive roles – including General Counsel, VP of Operations and CTO – for Geeknet, Inc. (formerly known as SourceForge, Inc.), a publicly-traded NASDAQ Global Market company.

Jay started his career as an applications programmer for IBM and worked as a Manhattan-based securities litigation attorney. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University and a J.D. from the American University, Washington College of Law.

Jay likes fixing things, especially mechanical things.

Lila Tretikov, CIO

Vice President of Engineering/CIO

Lila is responsible for engineering and technology operations at SugarCRM, including engineering development and managing SugarCRM's cloud services technology. Lila has a rich background in enterprise software, spanning multiple verticals from financial to bioengineering to high-tech. She focuses on building robust products and the redundant, highly-available systems to support their delivery.

Prior to coming to Sugar, Lila led development of solutions for the telecommunications space in 24/7 high-availability geographically redundant environments for numerous Fortune 500 customers. She was responsible for development of network applications for enterprise partners such as VeriSign and Sprint/Nextel. Lila delivered distributed enterprise software for large customers such as Bank of America and Sun Microsystems and led product design, development and deployment at start-up companies.

Lila has research background in computer science and mathematics. She studied computer science and design at University of California at Berkeley and Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Chris Bucholtz, Editor-in-Chief, CRM Outsiders

With 17 years as a technology and business under his belt, Chris took over the role of editor in chief of the CRM Outsiders blog in 2011. He first focused on customer relationship management as the editor of InsideCRM, then moved to Forecasting Clouds in 2009 to continue honing his views on how the discipline of CRM can impact the entire business.

Before developing into a CRM influencer, Chris covered a variety of technology-related topics. He was the editor of Semiconductor Manufacturing Magazine, senior editor of technology for VAR Business, senior editor at HP World and intelligence and software editor for Telephony. After a six-year stint in the U.S. Navy, his start in journalism came as a rock columnist for BAM Magazine..

In addition to his business and technology writing, Bucholtz has written three books on World War II aviation. An avid scale modeler, Chris and his wife live in Alameda, California.

Chuck Coulson, Vice President of Business Development

Chuck is responsible for the management and expansion of SugarCRM's partnership with leading technology and service providers worldwide. Prior to joining SugarCRM, Chuck was vice president of business development for Parature Inc., a privately-held provider of on-demand customer service software, where he was responsible for the company’s channels, alliances, and strategic partnership programs on a global basis. Previously, he was senior director, business development and field operations at SAP, a publicly traded subsidiary of SAP AG, the world's largest business software company.

Before joining SAP, Chuck on served as senior director, solutions alliances for Salesforce.com. During his tenure at Salesforce.com, he developed their ISV and Strategic Alliance Program, and was responsible for identifying, enabling and managing the partner community of ISV's to further develop strategic partner relations to produce new sources of revenue. Chuck began his career with Oracle Corporation, where he held a variety of technical account management, alliance management, and business development roles during his 15-year tenure.

Chuck studied information systems with concentrations in marketing and private finance at Carnegie-Mellon University.

Robyn Forman,  Vice President of Marketing Programs and Communications

Robyn oversees worldwide inbound and outbound demand generation, channel and strategic partner marketing and public relations for SugarCRM. She draws on 16 years of marketing experience at such companies as Biz360, EMC Documentum, Kaplan Test Prep, PeopleSoft, SpikeSource and Utility.com, roles that built her expertise in both the B2B and B2C arenas.

Robyn was the co-founder and vice president of marketing at Engine140, a social media software company acquired by Vocus. She was also the acting vice president of marketing for EasyAsk, an industry-leading provider of natural language search and analysis software. She previously founded online marketing agency Red Apple Marketing, where she helped B2B start-ups build their lead funnel and drive leads through the pipeline.

Robyn holds a B.A. degree in English literature from Framingham State College and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. As a member of Soroptimist International, a global professional woman's service organization, Robyn works with teenage girls living in a local group home and acts as the public relations chair for her local chapter. She is an avid reader and SciFi geek.

Before joining SugarCRM in June 2011, Tony was country manager of Open Text Corp., and managing director at Hummingbird Corp., Australia where his leadership resulted in the regional operation being the most successful and profitable office globally. More recently he was sales director for Objective Corp. and has expertise in on-demand and traditional software business environments selling at the highest levels and through channels.

Tony is regarded as a leader within the technology and software industries in Australia and offers a unique combination of software industry and sales management expertise having developed his own sales methodology which is the subject of an acclaimed book published in 2010, The Joshua Principle, Leadership Secrets of RSVPselling™. Tony has lectured at the University of Sydney where he taught a business communication and negotiation course focused on his unique RSVP concepts.

Earlier in his career, Tony was the number one sales executive for BellSouth Corporation in Asia-Pacific and the highest-ever sales performer, with records that remain unbeaten decades later. He was named to the President’s Club and was recognized in the top 1% of sales people globally, having sold products and services to IBM and other tier-one organizations. Tony has worked for other industry stalwarts including Digital Equipment Corporation (Hewlett Packard), where he earned Asia-Pacific Account Manager of the Year, Fujitsu Australia, where he delivered their largest ever OEM contract in Asia-Pacific, and he sold at the highest levels for SAP and other software companies in complex enterprise environments. Tony lives in Sydney, Australia and is married with two children.

Majed Itani joined SugarCRM in 2004 as a founding member of the core engineering team. He was instrumental in the creation of the SugarCRM platform. Today, as the VP of Development and Chief Architect, Majed provides both a vision and a path for his engineering team to create products people love to use. He is responsible for ensuring the design, stability and scalability of the SugarCRM product lines and leads a team of highly dedicated engineers who collaborate with top-tier partners to create and deliver one of the fastest growing CRM solutions in the world.

Prior to joining SugarCRM Majed has worked at companies such as Apple Computer, Adobe, Ariba and Quinstreet.

He holds a degree in mathematics with an emphasis in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, and lives with his wife in Northern California.

Craig A. Lewis, Vice President ofProfessional Services

Craig brings to SugarCRM over 25 years of consistent success starting, leading and scaling professional services businesses to effectively compete in fast-paced domestic and global markets. He is a recognized expert in both strategic and tactical operational processes, including all phases of onshore and offshore project management.

In addition to senior for-profit corporate positions, Mr. Lewis has also worked extensively in the public sector and the not-for-profit arena where he has been recognized on many occasions for his high ethical values, community service and commitment to professional development. For the past five years as founder of his own company, Genesis Consulting LLC he has served as CEO, COO or Managing Director in corporate, community and education environments.

After graduating from Stanford University and serving as an officer in the United States Army, Craig began his career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) developing large, interactive business systems. When he joined IBM as an accomplished negotiator and deal closer, he earned several key executive assignments in California, the Southwest, and IBM’s New York corporate office. When the company shifted its market focus to include a competitive professional services strategy, Craig returned to California to build one of the most successful business portfolios in the United States. He has also held senior executive positions at Hitachi Data Systems, Keane and American Management Systems.

Craig is married, with three children and currently resides with his wife in Northern California where he also serves on several boards and community-based service organizations.
