David Roberts has spent a career empowering customer-facing organizations to excel at knowing their customers and in driving exceptional marketing, sales and service engagement. He is currently President and CEO of SugarCRM and is responsible for leading the vision, culture, strategy, and operations of the company. David has led exceptional companies and teams for 30 years with publicly listed and private equity-backed companies, with a focus on profitable growth and successful M&A.
He joined SugarCRM from Alchemer, a global SaaS company focused on helping 12,000 global customers improve their customers’ experiences (CX) and their customer and employee feedback programs. He served as CEO and Director during a period of incredible growth and scale; rebranding and repositioning the company and selling the business to KKR. In prior leadership roles, David was a Senior Partner in Accenture’s CRM practice, the CEO of ReedGroup (now part of Alight), and a cabinet member in Denver Mayor,John Hickenlooper’s administration.
As Chief Financial Officer at SugarCRM, Avner Alkhas leads global finance, accounting, and go-to-market operations. He is responsible for driving SugarCRM’s financial strategy, capital efficiency, and operational performance to support continued growth.
With over 15 years of experience in private equity-backed software companies, Avner has a strong track record of scaling organizations and leading finance, legal, and HR functions through rapid growth and transformation. Prior to SugarCRM, he served as CFO at Jitterbit and SAFEBuilt, holding key roles in financial leadership across the software and tech-enabled services industries.
This marks Avner’s third successful CFO role in the software industry, underscoring his deep operational, strategic, and leadership expertise.
Ovsyannikov is an enterprise product leader with over 25 years of experience building some of the world’s leading business productivity solutions across supply chain management, HR, Service Management, Salesforce Automation, Marketing Automation and Customer Success. Maksim served in leadership roles at ADP, Saba, Zendesk, Salesforce, Grovo and most recently Ovsyannikov was an Executive Vice President of Product and Design at Gainsight. Maksim brings passion for beautifully simple products and latest AI innovation to Sugar.
As Chief Customer Officer, Lyndsey brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology implementation, helping businesses optimize operations and maximize the value of their technology investments. She has led large-scale initiatives across manufacturing and distribution industries, including automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, and chemicals. Before joining SugarCRM, she was Senior Vice President of Global Professional Services at PROS, where she drove business transformation through predictive analytics, pricing optimization, and CPQ solutions.
Previously, Lyndsey served as Vice President of Professional Services at Vertafore, overseeing onboarding, implementation, and training for over 20,000 customers. She also spent nearly six years at Airbus, leading global, cross-border teams to deploy complex software solutions. Passionate about customer success, she is committed to ensuring SugarCRM’s customers achieve lasting business value.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Shana Sweeney brings more than 20 years of experience across a broad array of industries and company sizes. She is responsible for providing an exceptional employee experience by ensuring that Sugar’s employees come first.
In 2015, Shana joined SugarCRM from Nuna Inc., where as co-founder she was instrumental in helping to build the company from the ground up. Prior to Nuna, she held progressively more complex roles at companies such as Xactly, Google, Severn Trent Services, and Aetna. Shana holds an MS in Human Resource Management from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, and a BS in International Politics from UC Santa Cruz.
