Project Management - Improving the planning, communication, and execution of your company's critical projects
- Planning Grids allows users view can build a project quickly, and manage from a top-line perspective.
- Project Templates allows users to create projects from pre-defined templates. This minimizes the time to create repeated and most frequently executed projects.
- Gantt Charts presents a time-phased bar chart that lists tasks or activities along with a time length bar which represents the duration of the activity.
- Project Dashboards provide a visual representation of key project metrics such as upcoming tasks, open items, percentage completion and open cases. Project managers and users see different views of the dashboard depending on their role.

Customer Self-Service Portal
SugarCRM's Customer Self-Service Portal allows companies to provide self-service capabilities to customers and prospects for key marketing, sales and support activities.
- Case Self-Service - Customers can log cases, upload relevant information, and track cases to resolution without ever having to pick up a phone. All cases are automatically logged within the Sugar Cases module.
- Account Updates - Allows customers to update account, contact, billing and shipping address information in one single location.
- Subscription Management - Customers can select and manage their subscriptions to newsletters and email lists which are automatically registered within the SugarCRM Campaigns module.
- Knowledge Search - Reduces the number of inbound support calls by allowing customers to search for resolutions within the Customer Self-Service Portal. The self-service portal also exposes the FAQ's written and managed within Sugar.

Duplication Checking Upon Import
Upon data import, SugarCRM will check for duplicates and give users the option to delete duplicated entry. A log of duplicate records is created to ensure data integrity.
Record Merge
Merge duplicate records from different views within the SugarCRM application
Internationalization
Enhanced support for multi-byte character sets and UTF-8 ensure international users can store and retrieve data in virtually any language.
Microsoft Support
Support for Microsoft products such as Microsoft SQL and IIS Web Server so Microsoft customers can deploy SugarCRM on their existing technology infrastructure.

Support for Microsoft SQL Server Express will be included in Sugar Open Source edition. Support for Microsoft SQL Server Workgroup & Enterprise will be included in Sugar Professional and Sugar Enterprise editions accordingly.
Studio Enhancements, Usability Enhancements, Data Merge, and Internationalization will be included in all editions.
Forecast Enhancements will be included in Sugar Professional and Sugar Enterprise editions.
