SugarCRM’s 2021 Customer Breakthrough Awards Winners
As 2021 draws to an end, we want to celebrate our customers who push the boundaries of SugarCRM’s platform for breakthrough customer experience (CX) and business growth. With that in mind, we’re happy to announce the winners of our 2021 Customer Breakthrough Awards and recognize our customers’ success.
We’ve curated eight awards categories, each demonstrating the diversity and uniqueness of the Sugar community, including regional Customer of the Year winners in Asia-Pacific, EMEA, Latin America, and North America.
The Business Transformation award celebrates the most significant business improvements. The UK-based Cortech Developments—a leading industry specialist in risk mitigation, provides integrated software solutions for building, fire, energy, and security systems worldwide have scooped it. Cortech has gained a stronger understanding of the customer experience, seen internal productivity gains, and can now deliver even more value to their partners by migrating to SugarCloud. Special recognition is extended to Sugar partner redk for Cortech Developments’ support.
The Impact for Change award celebrates the customer with an inspirational business achievement that makes positive contributions to their community. Staying committed to animal welfare, Australian RSPCA won this category. With a central view of donation, inquiry, and campaign submissions, RSPCA uses Sugar to create more targeted supporter campaigns while significantly improving the distribution of funds.
The Adoption for Growth award celebrates the Sugar customer driving Sales, Marketing, and/or Service adoption of the Sugar platform. The German news agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH was chosen for excellence in driving sales personnel adoption of the Sugar platform, excelling in stakeholder management to educate and align business processes for improved business outcomes.
Customer for Life is the award that celebrates the customer that consistently delivers exceptional, personalized customer service and support using Sugar Serve. The winner, UDR, is the premier provider of luxury apartment living in the US. It has managed to leverage the full Sugar platform to direct the prospect and resident experience, including developing an SMS integration to meet customers where and how they prefer to interact with today’s digital-first era. Special recognition is extended to MasterSolve for UDR implementation and support.
The CX Innovation award celebrates the Sugar customer pushing the platform’s boundaries to innovate and deliver a better customer experience. That customer is SMC, a worldwide leader in pneumatic control engineering and industrial automation support technology headquartered in Tokyo. What qualified SMC as the winner is its extended adoption of Sugar Enterprise and Sugar Connect by 400% while adding the powerful Sugar Market solution to its sales and marketing stack.
The Sales Excellence award celebrates the customer using Sugar Sell, Sugar Enterprise, or Sugar Professional, which sets the bar high for what is considered sales excellence, using the CRM to its fullest. The winner of this award is American Marketing & Publishing (AMP), which, with the help of Sugar, has managed to simplify time-consuming tasks, making sales accounting and administrative work faster, easier, and more efficient. Special recognition is extended to Faye for AMP support.
Top Marketing Campaign of the Year – won by Funds2Orgs is the award celebrating the best creative, successful, and integrated campaign launched by a Sugar customer using Sugar Market. Managing customer data with Sugar’s modern marketing automation platform has enabled the nonprofit to expand while enforcing data integrity and the ability to retarget past prospects. Special recognition is extended to Faye for Funds2Orgs support.
Customer of the Year
North America – Corvus Janitorial, leading commercial cleaning services provider and franchisor in the US. Corvus uses Sugar to support sales and service to potential franchisees and commercial businesses. As a result of tighter customer engagement and greater customer satisfaction, business for Corvus is booming.
Asia Pacific – Stockwell delivers end-to-end property solutions that span development, investment, and management in Australia. The company uses Sugar to perform market segmentation and deliver a personalized client engagement at every stage of the customer decision-making journey. Deployed in the cloud, Sugar brings greater flexibility and scalability into its operations, helping Stockwell fuel business growth and meet new demands.
EMEA – Hermann Hartje KG, based in Northern Germany, underwent a complete digital transformation with Sugar to become the go-to wholesaler in the automotive and cycling industries. Sugar is an intrinsic part of the business, helping improve sales processes and upgrade the customer experience.
Latin America – Casabaca – Toyota is the oldest, family-owned Toyota dealership in Ecuador. During the pandemic, Casablanca leveraged Sugar to replace traditional methods of driving in-store traffic with a digital-first approach. Integrating digital channels helped increase lead conversion rates (from 1.2 to 2.6%) and boosted online sales by 15 percent monthly.
