Dominating the news cycle, COVID-19 is changing the way we do business as the nations work together to stem its spread. In the midst of these changes, Sugar’s top priority has not changed—we are still here to support the Sugar family, from our customers to our partners and employees worldwide. Sugar is operating business as usual and our commitment to your success is unwavering and steadfast, and there are a few messages we’d like to share.

First, we are all in this together: We may reside on different continents, in different time zones, and a  part of different communities, but we are one. We are here with you to walk through this together, not only business to business, but human to human. As we continue to monitor this situation and closely follow expert advice and government directives to prioritize the health of our Sugar family, our employee base remains resilient. Our global team is already working remotely and securely from wherever they are (as they often do), causing minimal if any, interruption to our customers and daily work. Many of you are also aware that we have postponed our SugarConnection Sydney event to prioritize the health and safety of all involved. We are currently crafting a re-imagined virtual experience, which will continue for all scheduled events until we are able to, once again, meet together.

Craig Charlton As CEO, Craig Charlton leads all facets of the SugarCRM business, from setting our vision and strategic direction to making sure we’re executing in the best possible way on the ground every day. Craig has been building and running high-growth businesses for 25 years. Before joining SugarCRM he was CEO of Oildex – the financial automation software and services provider – where he drove growth and oversaw the company’s acquisition by Drillinginfo. Craig also served as CEO of Abila, the financial and CRM provider operating in the association, non-profit and government space. Abila, which was acquired by Community Brands, grew its revenues threefold and transformed its revenue base to a subscription-based (SaaS) model over a three-year period. Craig has also been senior vice president and general manager (Asia Pacific) for ERP provider Epicor Software Corporation, where he shaped the company’s regional strategy to deliver consistent revenue and profit growth.
