SugarCRM’s Dawn Jaeger and Chris Blum Recognized by UBM Channel’s CRN Magazine as Two of 2012’s Women of the Channel
Jaeger Also Snags Prestigious Power 100 Acknowledgment; Recognitions Indicate SugarCRM’s Continued Success in the Channel
CUPERTINO, Calif., July 23, 2012 – SugarCRM, the world’s fastest-growing customer relationship management (CRM) company, today announced that Dawn Jaeger, director, channel development, and Chris Blum, director, channel, demand generation and customer marketing, have been recognized by UBM Channel’s CRN Magazine as two of the top Women of the Channel in 2012. Honorees in CRN’s 2012 Women of the Channel list have made a name for themselves as influential leaders within their own company, and the IT channel as a whole. In addition, Jaeger also made this year’s Women of the Channel Power 100 list that recognizes individuals who have reached the highest levels of success in the IT Channel industry, based on their achievements as executives and the influence they wield in the field.
The 2012 lists were selected by the editors of CRN Magazine based on nominations and applications from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers. Criteria for selection was based on the role each applicant played over the past year in driving revenue for their company and the steps they’ve taken to evangelize the importance of the IT channel.
“Last year, we had 15 partners who grew their businesses over 300%, 30 partners who grew over 200%, and many more who grew over 100%,” said Dawn Jaeger, director of channel development at SugarCRM. “The success that our channel has achieved in the last year is remarkable, and I look forward to carrying on our legacy of introducing fresh programs that continue to drive the channel to be successful. - Continued Channel Growth – The SugarCRM Open+ Partner Program has increased to more than 400 partners worldwide, and between 2010 and 2011, partner-source deals tripled.
- Distribution Deal with Ingram Micro – SugarCRM signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro, the world’s largest IT distributor. The agreement will allow the channel partners who are part of Ingram Micro’s Advanced Computing Division to sell and distribute SugarCRM’s product suite in North America.
- New Certification Program – The certification program will ensure channel partners that their employees are receiving the training and skills they need to manage their SugarCRM business. In turn, the program will assure customers that they are working with partners who are knowledgeable and up-to-date on the most current SugarCRM products and programs.
