VersaTech was founded in 2005 by a small group of experienced IT managers and engineers led by Jason Peay, President of VersaTech. VersaTech’s company mission is to provide superior information technology development and management services to our clients. Mr. Peay’s business philosophy has been validated by the continued growth of both VersaTech’s business and dollar value of new projects, since the company’s founding.
VersaTech provides IT services that include: 1) website design and development; 2) web applications design and development; 3) database design, development, maintenance, and support; 4) network design and operations; 5) cyber security; and 6) managed services (help desk/call center).
VersaTech’s technical development and management approaches have been tailored to provide exceptional performance and results, and are built on a solid foundation ofexperience gained from working with several government agencies and commercial businesses, including: several Centers at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Labor, U.S Department of Agriculture, the State of Maryland, and Verizon Business. Furthermore, we have refined our development approach and process based on the application of principles and best practices from the Rational Unified Process (RUP), Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI Level II), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO 9001:2008, Agile Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies, and the Project Management Institute (PMI). Our practices have been audited and have met ISO 9001:2008 certification criteria. Our final step to validate our process is the CMMI Maturity Level II appraisal we conducted and our appraisal team has recommended VersaTech for CMMI Maturity Level II.
