SugarCRM Appoints Henning Ogberg Senior Vice President EMEA as Part of Strategic New Direction for Regional Expansion

The CRM specialist focuses on growing its channel and targeting the enterprise market

Munich – September 3, 2013 – SugarCRM, the company that makes every user a customer expert, today announced the appointment of Henning Ogberg as new Senior Vice President EMEA. Ogberg is responsible for the operational business activities of the CRM specialist in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). His new role includes the most crucial tasks of development for all sales channels, especially in the core markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, UK, France and Italy, as well as the further growth of the business in the enterprise market.

Ogberg comes from Clearswift, a global cybersecurity company, where he held the position of Worldwide Head of Sales. He holds a degree in business administrations of the University of Kalmar, Sweden and brings more than 20 years of experience in international management of IT companies – especially in the areas of cloud computing, enterprise software and IT security.

Another addition to the EMEA management team is Daniel Heck. As Senior Director of Marketing EMEA, he is responsible for strategic and tactical marketing and communications activities in the region. Heck was formerly Senior Director EMEA Marketing with Canadian Solar, a leading global solar company. In his extensive career he held several senior marketing positions with IT companies like LogLogic, SurfControl, Verity or Day.
