Cupertino, CA – March 14, 2005 – SugarCRM Inc. is proud to announce the establishment of SugarForge.org, the premiere destination for community collaboration on Sugar Suite extensions, modules, language packs and themes. SugarForge.org empowers the community to leverage the combined ideas of developers around the world, by offering the toolset and location to manage and distribute new community-developed Sugar extensions to the benefit of all Sugar users. In addition, SugarForge.org offers a range of support for those who need assistance with Sugar Suite development or implementation.

SugarForge.org’s advanced architecture, project management and repository capabilities enables users to easily collaborate, contribute, develop and access Sugar Suite extensions. SugarForge.org offers every user a single source to access project contributions, top project listings, project tree management, community member insight, code snippets, and project openings related to the Sugar Suite.

“SugarForge.org allows the SugarCRM community to collectively work on and access any aspect of the Sugar Suite,” says Clint Oram, Co-Founder and Open Source Project Director. “It is the destination for developers to contribute code; implementers to find new extensions; and users to see what other functionality is available which the community has created.”
