Roxtec Improves Mobile Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with Integration of SugarCRM and Riva
SugarCRM’s Interoperability Key to Seamless Integration with New Riva System
CUPERTINO, Calif.—July 12, 2011—SugarCRM, the world’s fastest growing customer relationship management (CRM) software company, today announced that Roxtec, a developer, manufacturer and seller of complete sealing solutions for cables and pipes, has selected Riva Integration Server from Omni to integrate its SugarCRM system with Microsoft Exchange. The integration of Riva with SugarCRM enabled Roxtec to synchronize their desktop applications with mobile email, enabling 60 sales team managers in 18 of Roxtec’s subsidiaries to better collaborate and more effectively communicate.
Roxtec has relied on Sugar Professional Edition as its worldwide CRM system since 2006. Previously, employees were faced with the time consuming process of using a native Outlook plug-in to sync Sugar contact and calendar information locally. With Riva, Roxtec was able to dramatically reduce administration time and efforts while providing its users with advanced integration features including automatic synchronization, along with CRM access from a variety of email applications and mobile devices such as the Apple® iPhone®, iPod Touch® and iPad®.
