- Unify the company’s three separate knowledge centres into a single, real-time knowledge base. Customers, including GPs and other health professionals, will be able to access information much more quickly and easily via the company’s secure website.
- Provide all EMIS staff with real-time access to a single source of customer, sales, and service data, with which they can better manage accounts, and produce comprehensive and accurate sales target forecasts and reporting across the organization.
EMIS investigated a variety of CRM options but found them to lack the level of flexibility, customer service, and low total cost of ownership (TCO) they required. SugarCRM was the clear winner. “With our sensitive patient records on file, we were also keen to host our own solution.” comments Ward. “This was a major factor in our decision to choose Sugar.”
The company also plans to complete deep integrations with SugarCRM across its business, with installations scheduled for the servicing, internal ordering, and procurement departments, as well as the development of a company intranet.
