AP Financial Services - SugarCE 5.0a beginner

I am using SugarCE 5.0a (I am very new to this). I have followed (to the letter, I believe) every step neded to launch a campaign. I have several million records (all Opt-In, permission based records complete with Opt-In date, source of this information and IP address), but I still cannot manage to get a test piece put together.

I have created a 5 record test .csv file contaning my first and last name, email address and "source" I have developed an htmp piece. But this is where I am stuck. I cannot locate a "launch a campaign for dummies" instruction manual anywhere. I am not new to the computer world, but I am to the whole CRM web based way of doing things. Our new website is ready to go, but I cannot get ourselves out to the masses until I can get this figured out. I am only planning on sending about 25K at a time (or about 200K per month).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

With this test .csv did you import the records into Sugar into the leads or contacts? and then try to run the campaign?

What kind of F9nancial services are you doing? You might be interested in the configuration of Sugar I have been doing for another Financial services company. If you are interested, I am willing to share the customization and we could work something out for getting my help to configure and import data, get Sugar functioning like you need it (Dropdowns etc) If you have SSH on your server I could easily manage this for you, including backups, restores etc...
