Thanks, it works now but there was some trouble.

For those who have some trouble, to install it, you need to :
1 - unzip with winrar (i had trouble with winzip)
2 - you will have a file GANTTChart_4.5
3 - add the extension ".zip" to that file -> GANTTChart_4.5.zip
4 - use the module manager to install this gantt module

Or, find in attachement the correct file

Hope it will help you...

Please add
PHP Code:
echo '<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">'."\n"
after
PHP Code:
echo "<head>"."\n"
in ganttchart.php for correct charset display

I followed your instructions to install the module and it worked.

I then created a test project and a few test tasks. I made Task 2 depend on 1 and task 3 depend on 2. I created a start and due date for task 1. Task 1 had a nice bar on the graph; however, tasks 2 and 3 did not show up on the graph side with any bars indicating duration or dependency.

Is there a way to get EMAIL NOTIFCATION when a task is COMPLETED or a START or END date is changed?

It would beneficial to have that kind of information "pushed" out to people involved in the project so that they are actively told when certain changes may effect their project.

Thank you.

Here is an upgrade safe version of Gantt chart. Instead of a button on the DetailView, I made a menu item on the left hand side menu. You will have to uninstall the old Gantt Chart as it is incompatible with this version. Also I fixed all the language file problems.

Hi Bill, thanks for the update, but it seem like not working with Version 4.5.1 b and c.... Is there any modification that needed to be done to enable it to be use in those two version?

Sorry ... and thanks for supporting open source....

I was also unable to get it working with 4.5.1b & d, the install went through it's routine, presented a 'crm upgrades' ad at the end, but the module does not show up in the installed modules, even though the log stated that it had modified files. Is there an easy way to remove this ? Seems that we're having some system problems folliowing this attempted install (which may or may not be related, but I'd like to clean this out to eliminate the possibility).

Thanks
