selected fields are not storing in the contact table

selected fields are not storing in the contact table

can u help me. we added new fields in the drop down at the front end same fields added in the contact table. after selecting the new fields in the step3 in the import menu, when we click on the import now button. values are not inserting in the new fields but they are stored in the default fields. newly added fields are assigned null values.
