Given the number posts in these forums, it's evident that users have issues and questions of an immediate nature.

An IRC channel is an excellent resource for handling immedaite needs.

That's an excellent suggestion given that FreeNode is the largest FOSS IRC network around--the best I've seen. FreeNode is an outstanding resource for the open source community.

I just logged on and there's one other person in the channel besides me.

I'll stick around and we'll see if we can't get a little community participation going on.

For users who need help with PHP (27 different PHP channels), Apache (5 Apache channels with 184 people in #apache), MySQL (268 people in #mysql) and many other things.
