This is the jist of what we announced with Microsoft today.

1. We will introduce with 4.5 in the May/June timeframe a new Sugar Open Source distribution optimized for the windows platform (IIS, MSSQLServer).
2. We will support the Microsoft Community License – which is very much like the MPL for this new distro.
3. No changes to core Sugar Open Source and the Sugar SPL (MPL).
4. No changes in our commitment to Linux or any reprioritization of features for the Linux platform

Basically, we are just going to offer a second Sugar Open Source distro for the windows platform for those who prefer Windows over Linux (other OS’s). We remain and will always remain fully committed to the Linux platform.
