I read a post today from someone asking why they were having problems including files from Sugar to augment their external application. We love it when people do that. Sugar is a good platform for building stuff on top of, and also has a lot of resources to augment your existing application. When working with Sugar, the following should be kept in mind:
SugarCRM was designed to make sure that paths were always relative from the root of the application folder. This greatly simplifies making portions of the application useful from all use cases.
If you want to include Sugar files, you should put your entrypoint in the root sugar application folder, or change your working directory to the root sugar application folder. This will make sure that all of our includes work correctly.
