Hi all, my name is Andy Dreisch and I run the Community Development efforts for SugarCRM. I've been with Sugar for 14+ months, which at times seems like two weeks and ten years somehow combined! Prior to running Community Development I helped lead the Sugar development efforts beginning WAY back with the 3.5.1 release (just last September!).

Before joining Sugar I was with WebEx for five truly eventful years and prior to that at one of the original CRM powerhouse vendors -- Aurum Software, later acquired by Baan.

The appeal of the commercial open source business model and its potential is what drew me to Sugar, and the ability to push this model in my role running Community Development is what fires me up now.

I have one daughter in college and one on the way [edit: to college, that is!]. My wife and I are nearing our 20th anniversary. We were both born and raised in Baltimore and the surrounding areas, and have lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia and, our final '-ia' state, California.
