    Default What is a hit?

Probably a really dumb question but what is a hit? In the Status page for a mass email we sent out there is something called hits on the far right side of the chart with all the emails viewed. Some addresses have 1 hit, some have 2, one even has 47??? What is it?

    Thanks!

Below the graph on a campaign status screen is a list of each target within each ‘Response’. The number of Hits is the number of times a target did the action to produce that Response. For example, the number of times they opened the email in their email client is the number of hits under ‘Viewed Message’ response, and the number of times they clicked your click through link in the email is the number of hits for the target under the ‘Click Thru Link’ Response.
