I've created a report and when I run it I get 3 contacts, but I cannot select or find it in the Reports / Reports search list of the "Select from Reports" popup window. Could someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong here?

Hi -
Is the report published?

Hi Tara,
Actually, here's my problem: I'd like to create a campaign with a target list that contains all contacts to whom we've quoted or sold a certain product (or even better, a range of products). As in the "Select from Reports" pop-up only the reports on module "Contacts" are visible (which makes perfect sense), and when I try to create a contact report on module "Contacts" I can't find "Products" in the "Related" drop-down list, I'm stuck. If I try the other way, i.e. to create a product report on module "Products", then there's no "Contacts" in the "Related" drop-down list and besides it will be also published under the module name "Products" (and not "Contacts"), so that it won't be visible in the "Select from Reports" popup of the Target list. Finally, I've tried over the Quotes and Products, I get the contact names in the result list but this report is again not visible in my Contacts - Select from Reports popup. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks,
George
Hi George -
Here''s what I found on an out-of-the-box install...
Sugar Pro does cross module reporting really well for 2 modules as long as there's a connection between them. What I see so far is the following relationships:
modlue: related:
opportunities contacts
products quotes
accounts quotes_ship to
You're right, having either a 3 module cross reporting would solve it or, a bit easier, add some custom fields into your modules. FYI, when you add a custom field into the module, it'll show up in your select area in the report.
What I think would work best for you is to add additional fields in either the quotes module or the opportunities module that would allow you to select the appropriate information. For instance, we added a product field in our opportunities module that I can search on, and then filter by opportunity status = closed won or whatever status you're looking for.
If you're interested in getting help from the sugar team on this, we have a professional services dept who's great at this stuff. Or another option would be to see if a partner or a community member on sugarforge.org would want to help out.
This is a great request- Now I'd like it for us at Sugar too!
I hope this is helpful.

Hi Tara and all,
I see this post is rather old but we would like to do the same thing.
Has the 3module cross-reporting been implemented since this post?
Thanks much

What I mean specifically is the ability to add to target list with a report lookup such as:
Contacts > Account > Contacts > Name
hopefully that will help a bit more.

What do you think about custom essay writing
That was some sort of good solution - there are some other good solutions available into the market but this sems to
be the best so far.. .
This is something that I will find very useful, thanks!
