sequential messages

I would like to create a email campaign where I can create a series of email messages that are sequential by pre-defined hours and days. Not date driven and time driven.

For example I was to send the following:

Message 1: sent on day 1 hour 22
Message 2: sent of day 3 hour 22

Is this possible? Every time I upload leads and assign them to a target list I want to kick off that series of emails.

It seems to be a logical addition but the fact of the matter there are some great 3rd party services that make it almost silly to use Sugar for this. You could however use Sugar to capture leads generated from such a service. There are huge advantages to using the 3rd party apps like bandwidth, spam control, speed and built in functions. There has been talk about integrating PHP list with Sugar but agiain I see this as a long exercise. I would take a look at the various services and see which is best. A few are Intellicontact and AWeber and 1shoppingcart. Hope this helps.
