Exclamation Open Source v4.0.0 Campaign problem

    Hi all!

We are creating a campaign with v4.0.0 and finish the process ok up to where we can send a test email. At this stage we get an error that says that we need to specify a from email in the marketing record. When we go there the pull down is empty and we cnanot select or input any email. Have any one enconuntered such situation? Any ideas are welcome.

    thanks and happy 2006!

Guys, just found the answer to this in the following post.

Not terribly intuitive but it works...

Thumbs up Re: Open Source v4.0.0 Tracking Issue

Hi, Thanks for the tips for the email manager. We finally got it to work. Now we are struggling with the tracking option for the campaign. When we configure the tracker text and URL, when the emails get sent, this URL it not correctly issued, as it points to our own SugarCRM server and it displays an error in the page and we cannot continue. Any ideas as to what are we missing?

Yeah, I am getting it pointing to the Sugar server as well, which won't work ever as the server is sitting behind a firewall. Is it by design that it points to the Sugar server? Does it need to do that in order to track?

I've configured my firewall to allow the tracker url access, but it still doesn't work. I don't understand this either.

It appears that this issue is not addresssed in upcoming patch. Maybe its a quick config change, but I also cant figure this out
