Default How to handle NON-email campaigns

I want to setup a mail shot campaign (direct mail) to contacts/accounts that are already on the system.

Thing is, the entire campaign module seems geared towards email campaigns.

Can anyone tell me how to handle a campaign that isnt email related? I have setup the campaign, added the contacts to the target, but what next? I plan to send out the mail shot, then have each contact phoned after a few days to discuss. How do i reflect their interest via the website so that my campaign tracking still works?

Interesting, I'm working on the same tasks too. I also don't see any capacity to designate test vs. control groups so that I can see which direct mail campaigns perform better.

    SugarCRM is running on:
    PHP 5.0.4
    MySQL 4.1
    Apache 2.x
    SugarCRM Pro 4.01c
    RedHat Linux

Plus there is an integration process running on Windows and connecting to Oracle that uses the SOAP API to load data into the SugarCRM instance on a scheduled basis.

Thumbs down Re: How to handle NON-email campaigns

This has been something i've been looking for a long time. Unfortunately Sugar CRM is not able to do this right now , IMHO.

the feature implemented correctly should let you track direct mail marketing campaigns, as well as implement them : It should let you do mail merges, so that you can print out labels directly.from your leads.
