Exporting data from a campaign for a mailout

I need to do a mail-out campaign with addresses from contacts and leads. How do I export the data from a campaign, once I have built a target list with contacts and leads? Is there a max number of records for exporting?

in your leads section there should be a little export button,
this should give you a csv sheet with everything in it
use excel to open it...

Hi

Export lets you export your entire lists of any entity. There is no limit.

Unfortunately, one of the few places export isn't available is from a target list. That is, when you display a target list detail screen, and see the list of targets associated with that list, there is no option to export the list of targets.

You have 2 work around choices both of which involve selecting the targets: You can either:

Display your list of all targets (targets option on the campaigns shortcut menu) , limit the list of target using search, select the ones you want (if the search has return some you don't want), and then export them using the export option at the top of the list.

or

Display your list of all Leads , limit the list of Leads using search, select the ones you want (if the search has return some you don't want), and then export them using the export option at the top of the list. Do the same with contacts.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've tried it but because I'll be exporting up to 30,000 records. It'll be quite tedious. Is there anyway I can code it in so that when I do export from the target list and select the option "entire list" that I can export both leads and contacts that I've selected. I'll be exporting up to 30,000 records. It's futile for me to reselect the records that I've attached to a campaign. Thanks.

I'm facing exactly the same problem (but with a smaller number of records - about 3,000). Seems crazy not to be able to export a list of names and addresses for the contacts selected for a campaign without re-selecting them...

Strikes me that adding a 'campaign' search field in the Contacts or Leads module would allow us to quickly search for all of the recipeints of any particular campaign, then export them.


Is anyone able to give us a quick step by step guide on how a relative newbie might add a 'campaign' search option to the advanced search field? I'm guessing that this would ideally be a drop-down, populated with the list of campaigns that currently exist, but a straight text box search field would also do the job.
