I have created migration scripts for some previous releases to the 1.0 release.
Future releases will have a built in upgrade mechanism that will take care of this step.
If you have 0.8 (with not modifying letter):

If you have 0.8b:
http://www.sugarcrm.com/release/0.8b...transition.sql
If you have 0.8c or 0.8d:
http://www.sugarcrm.com/release/0.8d...transition.sql
If you have 0.9:

I recommend that you backup your database before trying this script.
PHPMyAdmin can be used to execute the script if you are not familiar with mysql command line options. You can download the latest stable version from:
