Performance with Internet Explorer

I know this has been discussed before, but the perfornance issues using IE seem to have gotten worse in 2.5. It breezes along nicely using FireFox, of course - but with IE it bogged down so bad I actually had to check if the server wasn't hung or my DSL line hadn't dropped. Anyone else noticing this? I know the easy answer is "don't use IE" - but most of the sales folks use it and getting them to switch ain't happening.

There is a known performance issue with IE and PNG Images

Try going to:
Tools > Internet Options
General Tab: Temporary Internet Files
Click on the Settings Button

Check for newer versions of stored pages:
Select the "Automatically" radio button

Also try:
Tools > Internet Options
General Tab: Temporary Internet Files
Click on the Delete Files button

And getting the patch that should be released today that has Optimized PNG images for all themes.

Thanks. I was already set to Automatic. Guess it's just an IE thing.
