Does Suger do this? (calender and contact/roledex)

I started using sugar for my small business. It seems to be pretty complete. But, as I was using it, I came up with a coupel questions that I can't answer.

In the calender, can I creat ean event with otu it being a meeting with a client? I mean, I am out of the office for personal reasons on a certain day. Or, I am not in another day. Or, we are having a meeting for employees. I only seem to be able to make calender appointments if it is sales related.

Secondly, as far as contacts go, they seem to have to be related to sales. Can I have contacts in general? As a sales person, I devellop a network of contacts. I wodl like aplace to put that, at least the ones related to my company. Basicllly, I am looking for a simple roledex type of database for my network. It could also be for fellow employees that are not sales people.

Let me know if Sugar can do this.

I this case I made two contacts first is contact Private Time (or something like that) and Second Your own company.... So when you are doing things for the company in general, you link that to the Company itself.

This is what we call LEADS.... and leads become potential contacts if you are doing more then only drink a beer with them.
