    Default CSV Import Limits?

I have a 12K + record custom MS Access database that I'd like to upload into Sugar Open Source. I exported the contacts data from the Access db to a csv file, modified the upload limits in php.ini and config.php and set about to map the fields. It seems straight forward. However, when I push the "Import" button to do the deed, I get a blank page back from Sugar. Refreshing the page gets me a POSTDATA mesage (to be expected), and another blank page. Opening phpMyAdmin to look at the actual data shows that the import has failed.

What's happening? Am I trying to import too much data? Why no error message in that case? Is this a defect?

    Bo

I've had the same problem. I set my php memory to 64M, but I can't upload more than 500 records at a time, otherwise I get an import error message in a gray box that doesn't give me any useful info. I checked my error logs and it's definitely a memory issue. If I try to import 1000 contacts and update any contacts already on the system, it seems to eat up memory considerably. As a test try increasing PHP's memory further and see what happens. Good luck

    Hi,

Does anyone know if there will still be CSV import limits when the licensed version is purchased? or are these limitations just in the Community edition?
