Validations Problem

Hi every one

I want to add Javascript validation to textbox (onKeyUp event)

I know it shoulb be added in editviews.php file using customcode key
but i dont no the correct information.

so i kindly request u to send that code pls pls pls and

My question is whether i need to add this validation script before deployment or after deployment????

for custom javascript you can check
the following file you can get it.

modules/Opportunities/views/view.edit.php

find the display()

in that function their is an example of javascript you can use same.
