If you would like to request a tutorial then please request it here and maybe some helpful member can create it for you or help you create it.

Hi,

I'm relatively new to SugarCRM CE and am trying to integrate a custom php/mysql application that handles contracts. I have already integrated the data and now need to build a few custom modules and dashlets that access the tables of the custom php application. All of the tables are in the same database as the Sugar tables.

I'd love to see a step by step tutorial showing a newbie how to:

1. Show a newbie how to create a reference in sugar to all of the needed tables of the third party application so that modules and dashlets can be built using them just like the exisiting sugar modules can.

2. Detail exactly which files need to bge editted and how in order to do the above in an upgrade safe way.

3. Outline the process, step by step, of how to create custom module and dashlets with third party tables as described above.

This may already exist, but I can tell you that if it does it was either way to abstract or burried somewhere that makes it very hard to find.

I would like a quick tutorial on how to create a button like ConvertLead. I've looked at the actual convertlead.php as well as the detailvewdefs.php in Leads and I can't figure out how to start out. How is convertlead.php related to the array in detailviewdefs.php? An easy step by step would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for complete walk-through/step-by-step directions on how to create custom modules and relate them to other modules that are either out of the box or custom.

I am also looking for a tutorial on recreating the Sugar Contacts module. I am not understanding how they created the ability to add multiple email addresses for a contact and other functionality of this module.

If anyone knows of a great place for step-by-step tutorials please let us know.

I was looking for help in forum and wiki, but without success.

I need a static page for my new module (done in Module Builder) where I would set some configurations. It would be like a admin page, but for a specific module.

Where can I read about how to do a admin page for a custom module?

Before ask it here I had found something about Administrator and Configurator, but I did what the follow links say to do and it doesn't work.

some related things:
- Custom Configurations
- ACL - Aplication Framework

I would like to discovery the correct way and after post it in the forum as a how-do-do topic.
Anyone can help me with it?

I couldn't find a piece of sample code that uses Axis2.
