Default SideCreate and TinyMCE field for ModuleBuilder

We have added support for another field in Module Builder.

The TinyMCE field which results in the HTML editor being loaded each time you have added a tinyMCe field in a module.

There is support for editview, detailview and with an additional hack (which is not posted here) also listview (with this hack only, in listiview you will see the encoded html not the rendered html)

The same hack I made for Studio has now also been made for module builder so you can edit the layout of SideCreate panels.

Please see the attached SVN diff and I have also attached the changed files directly for those that want to test this but does not know howto SVN.

The changed files and SVN diff are against the 510b released source code. This will most likely break alot of things if you use this on 510c.

Now guarantees ... you know the rest.

If you feel this might be useful please vote in the poll since this might make sugar integrate this in the official release, which in turn will let me focus on other things rather than maintaining this source for future releases.

Please note that this is part of a much larger set of patches we have made to sugar and I have extracted only the changes relevant to these 2 patches. I might have missed something in the extraction and this has not been tested. I still wanted to share this with you though.

This is the post with the hack for Studio: SideCreate layout editing

    SideQuickCreate support added in Studio

I forgot to mention that you will need to manually clear the cache directories

    cache/modules
    cache/smarty/templates_c
    cache/jsLanguage

Could you please post instructions on how to apply your patch? I assume they are something to the effect of:
    1. download the two zip files
    2. extract the files to /var/www/crm
    3. apply the files (????)
    4. delete everything in cache/modules, cache/smarty/templates_c, and cache/jsLanguage

but as you can tell I'm a bit fuzzy on 3.

    Hi Machineghost

You should not have to appluy the files. Just making sure they end up in the correct directory (and on linux with httpd/apache group/user as owner). It is only the

    http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/attac...4&d=1229517189

    file that you need.

The other file (patch file) is for SugarCrm and other developers (that are using Subversion for version tracking) that want to see what lines has been modified, added or deleted in the 510b release code. This is the normal way to send many changes across many files in Subversion, as a diff/patch file.

So in short if you replace the original relevant 510b source files with the files in the zip file it should work as is.

    Regards
    Ken
