Add Contact Module

Hello Sugar Professionals,

I am trying to add one ore more modules based on the contact module. The reason is, that I want to implement different tabs to seperated contact types like:
- contacts
- competitors
- specialcontacts
- xycontacts
They should show the standard contact view in "edit and list view". And also the "shortcuts" should be the same as in the standard contact tab.

I tried it once with the module builder. I created the module, imported it in the crm and it seemed, that everything worked out fine but the shortcut-panel(schnellmenü) is empty...


What is the best solution to implement different contact-tabs? What is to do with the relationships in the modulebuilder? Are there any general functions to keep in mind while doing this adaption?

When creating a new module by studio, you have the option to create a Person type module. This is a module based on contact. Its behavior is similar to contacts. You can create a lot of Contacts based modules this way.
