Introduction
This document describes the requirements, new features, enhancements, and known limitations in Sugar Professional 5.5.4.
You can upgrade from Sugar versions from 5.5.0, 5.5.1, 5.5.2, and 5.5.3 to Sugar 5.5.4. All Sugar 5.5.0 and 5.5.1 plug-ins and extensions are compatible with Sugar 5.5.4.

In order to better support multi-byte character storage with Microsoft SQL Server, you can configure Sugar to use FreeTDS driver. See “Installation Prerequisites and Guidelines” in the Sugar Professional Application Guide. Known Limitations
The Microsoft SQL Server driver version 1.0, does not support UTF8. Therefore, use the FreeTDS Driver.
Change in Behavior
Prior to 5.5.3, a single username could be used to log into a Sugar system under multiple sessions simultaneously. As of 5.5.3, a single username can be used to log into a Sugar system only under one session. Any additional user sessions started using the same username will log out previous sessions.
