Cloud Computing, open source software and the Internet are altering the dynamics of marketing. Marketing leaders have transitioned from an outbound mindset to one where you make yourself the bull's-eye for those that are reading about or looking for your solution. You then nurture the prospects through a "Discover, Research, Try, Buy" process filtering out those that have a predisposition to pay and the ones who will never open their wallets. Alfresco Software, one of most successful open source companies in the market, tackled this challenge by integrating Pardot, a demand generation system, as a front end to SugarCRM. In this session, Chief Marketing Officer Dr. Ian Howells will describe how Alfresco is using Pardot and Sugar to prioritize, score, route, pursue and nurture inbound marketing leads.
