Known Limitations

In the Module Loader, when you install a custom module that you exported as well as published, the “Uninstall” and “Disable” buttons do not display in the published module after the exported module is installed.
|
Therefore, it is recommended that developers publish modules on a different Sugar instance instead of the development instance.

Some entry points have been changed in Sugar 5.1. Hence, a custom file created in 5.0 may fail in 5.1 with the error message “Not a valid entry point” unless you manually update it with the new entry point in 5.1.

For example, if you have customized vCard, navigate to custom\modules\<modulename>\metadata\detailviewdefs.php and replace <name="vcard" action="vCard.php>"
