This position will be responsible for managing sales through our partner channel in EMEA. The ideal candidate will possess a background in multiple disciplines of channels sales, including resellers, systems integrators, ISVs and OEMs. At SugarCRM, the Alliance team deepens their understanding of business and strategic issues, exercise a passion for critical thinking, refine their interpersonal skills, and fortify their capacity for disciplined analysis. Preferred locations for this role are either Munich, Germany or Paris, France or in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed an annual alliance sales quota representing in-direct revenue from the partner customer base (OEM/ISV/Reseller/System Integrator) and revenue from direct sale within the partner organization.
- Accurately maintain partner pipelines and the sales growth within a region.
- Assist partners with selling new products, closing business, developing sales and marketing plans.
- Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support.
- Drive growth for the company by establishing new VAR/SI relationships and managing existing relationships, gathering information and developing solutions to increase the effectiveness of the channel partners.
- Balance your time between revenue generating activities and relationship building.
- Create business plans for top partners to successfully manage direct and indirect partner business for growth.
- Provide constant feedback to internal SugarCRM teams to assist in Marketing, Product Development, Engineering and Strategy
- Preparation and review of Quarterly Business Reviews with both the partner and SugarCRM management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Strong partner orientation, with 5+ years channels sales experience in Software industry, CRM experience preferred,
- Quick learner and self-starter who can think strategically about how to help business partners to market and grow their business.
- Easily understand technology and communicate it to prospects and partners
- Results-oriented team player with a committed effort to overachieve individual goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present ideas effectively in a group environment
- Excellent planning, time management, decision making and organization skills
- A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
- Strong ties to existing channel network in CRM consulting in local region (Germany, France, or UK) a plus.
