We are looking for an independent, task-driven individual who can successfully manage interactions with several sales groups as well as manage technical support cases with existing customers. You must be organized, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. SugarCRM is a fast-paced startup environment, so your flexibility to adapt to new and changing requirements is key.
The preferred location for this position is at Sugar’s EMEA HQ in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve installation, implementation, and production issues
Analyze customer CRM requirements and estimate development efforts
Work closely with the EMEA sales team to answer pre-sales technical questions about SugarCRM products
Help craft responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
Documenting known solutions
Be the general “Go To” person for the sales reps for all things technical
Qualifications:
Must be knowledgeable in PHP and SQL
Prefer 2 years experience with the Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) technology stack
Experience troubleshooting email setup issues (SMTP, IMAP, POP3)
Familiarity with Web Services APIs (i.e.- SOAP, REST)
Experience with other CRM solutions desired
Must be fast learning and quick thinking
Excellent customer-facing skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Experience working as a technical sales resource (Sales Engineer)
Skills in presenting and demonstrating software, with good objection-handling skills
Familiarity with online conferencing software for demonstrations is desired
Experience with open source projects desirable
Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft IIS desired
